Purpose statement

  • Vision: Children and pre-teens who know, love, and present Christ as Lord.
  • Mission: To grow a community of children and pre-teens who impact the world through the Word, prayer, care, missions and lifestyle.

  • Anchor Verse: Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Specific Objectives

To nurture and grow a community of children and pre-teens who know, love, care, and present Christ as Lord in the world through the following:

  1. Recruit, train, develop, and deploy children ministry workers with a definite passion and calling to serve among children.
  2. Intentionally engage children and pre-teens in regular pulpit ministry, age specific classes, and mentorship.
  3. Increase capacity to minister more effectively to children with special needs.
  4. Strategically partner with parents and guardians as key stakeholders in discipling children and pre-teens.
  5. Foster partnerships and good working relationships with like-minded organizations
  6. Minister holistically to children to nurture them spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, physically.

Worship

  • We have weekly worship services on Sunday where children worship God together in celebration

DVBS:

Daily Vacational Bible School is a 4-day event where children spend time in God’s presence learning His Word in fun and interactive ways. The aim of DVBS is to reach out to children from all walks of life and present the Gospel to them in a way they can understand.

Africa Children’s Prayer Day:

An event organized in partnership with ChildNet Tuamke held on the first weekend of October every year. Children from all over the country and Africa join together in prayer on this day, and use a prayer guide to pray together in agreement a month to 40 days before the prayer event.

Oasis Children’s Camp:

A fun get-away for children where they enjoy time in God’s presence at a convenient location. Activities include Bible study, prayer, exercise, food, fun and fellowship!
